Sleep is an important part of our lives. We spend a third of our lives asleep for good reason; it is essential for our emotional and physical wellbeing, and is the time when we consolidate all of our experiences and learning from that day. For most of us during this disrupted time, our daily routines have changed. In turn, a lot of children’s sleep has been impacted, which can present as particular difficulties when they start back at school.

School has funded Sleep Webinars to help parents re-introduce bedtime routines and offer advice around challenges that parents face when it comes to getting their children to sleep. It is hoped that this will help with the transition back to school, and give children the best chance to quickly settle, engage and learn.
